Utah with the English clan!
I was invited to Utah this January for a few days of skiing of course! I was a bit nervous, but confident, the confidence that was all left at Snowbird along with my tears in the snow (caught up with Season 1 of Mad Men on my ipod instead sitting outside the cafe waiting for the English brothers). We even got to sneak in a quick jaunt over to Park City, Utah, during the film fest.Alta was beautiful, especially for a beginner. I never realized how much I could enjoy skiing without the snowboarders whizzing past me! The snow was powder, nothing like I have ever experienced. The weather was amazing, not your bitter NE cold. I'd definitely return to Alta, but Snowbird...maybe in another life!
Couldn't leave the state without visiting one of the breweries and we choose Wasatch Brew Pub in Park City for some Polygamy Porter. Thanks Barbara for taking me snowshoeing in the Wasatch National Forest, that is my kind of sport!
