Against the Grain in the rain

Tonight was a low key evening, almost upon the new year. It was one of life's special moments, that moment we realize how lucky we are to be with the person we are with. Shaun and I went to the cozy beer bar Against the Grain. I imbibed in a beer on the specials list which was Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard and also a Hop Rod Rye.

Hop Rod Rye made it's way in to my life shortly before this night. According to the Brewery, Bear Republic, this is a strong American IPA. I like the review from BA, "you'd swear the mouthfeel was massaging your taste buds."
